Music Music and More Music

Christian Lane

DJ Lane has been DJing events since 2009. He was introduced to the industry by tagging along with Dan Semones, a long-time DJ in Southwest Virginia. Before he knew it, he was doing his own gigs from school dances to weddings. Christian was the on-campus DJ at Radford University from 2011 to 2013. Shortly after graduating college, he moved to Washington D.C., where he was able to sharpen his mixing skills by playing at local bars/clubs in Georgetown, U-Street, and Dupont Circle. He has always had a soft spot for weddings as he feels honored to be a part of a couple’s special day. DJ Lane has a knack for picking up the vibe of a crowd and keeping them engaged on and off the dance floor. His emceeing keeps the event running seamlessly from ceremony to send off. Christian is a true open-format DJ that can cater to any music genre that the clients are looking for.

Craig Whitacre

DJ Craig has been with Music, Music, and More Music for more than 10 years. Prior to this, he had 3 years of experience DJing in Southern California. Craig is known for his upbeat emceeing and his ability to keep the dance floor packed with many styles of music that cater to any crowd. Craig loves many aspects of DJing but says that the most rewarding part of the job is helping couples and their families celebrate their special day. Be it a wedding, corporate function, family reunion or anniversary, Craig looks forward to working with you.

Jamie Strassburg

DJ Jamie has been in the DJ entertainment industry since 1992, starting at the age of 14. He fell in love with DJing at his first dance in Junior High School where he was fascinated watching the DJ mix vinyl. Jamie has entertained all over the Mid-Atlantic with multiple DJ companies performing all types of functions–weddings, private parties, corporate events, clubs–you name it, he’s played it. After moving to Lynchburg with his family in 2022, he joined the Music, Music, and More Music team. To date he has been a part of thousands of events, playing for parties as small as five to guest lists over 1000 people. He is a personality entertainer who will energize your guests and work with staff and vendors to ensure the night flows seamlessly. He is here to facilitate and make recommendations, to make sure your dream becomes a reality.

Rick Pruett

Rick found a passion for DJing back in 1998, mentored by some of the area’s best known DJs. Rick soon found himself working throughout the New River Valley. With high school in the early 70’s, great music was everywhere. This laid the groundwork for a background of music knowledge. Though he began primarily as a school DJ, Rick soon found that he wanted to enter the wedding industry. The details for a wedding day are numerous and nothing can be overlooked. Rick takes care to integrate all of the couple’s wishes into the planning process. When Rick is not DJing weddings, he is the main DJ for “Dirty Dancing Weekends” at the famous Mountain Lake Lodge.

Wendell Brown

DJ Wendell has been in the business for over 40 years beginning as a musician in his teens. His experience as a band member (and his access to the sound equipment) led to an invite to DJ a friend’s party. He took the gig and has kept the dance floor packed ever since. He loves collaborating with clients to make their event special in every way. When he’s not DJing, Wendell participates in the local music scene playing in bands and running sound for them. He looks forward to working with you to make your special event a memorable one.
